Cara MengUpgrade WordPress Anda 2.9 !
Khusus Buat yang baru memulai wordpress. jadi belum ada postingan2 dll. <<== baca..
Jika anda ingin mengupgrade wordpress yang sudah anda postingan , themes, dll silahkan lakukan backup data dulu. misal backup database, backup file themes, plugin dll. Plugin Backup. ini untuk meng-Awekani kalau terjadi kesalahan. karena sepintar2 tupai melompat bisa error juga.
ssst… saya nekat mengupgrade otomatis wordpress . dan berhasil tanpa satupun postingan hilang. jadi upgrade wordpress otomatis jika berhasil tidak akan ada postingan yang hilang/tidak mengoverwrite data yang sudah ada, termasuk themes plugin dll.
1. Upgrade Otomatis klik Tools -> Upgrade menu.
klik auto
isi configurasi sesuai site anda :
| Isi dengan sub domain anda, misal blog.web-koe.com atau dengan Hostname anda hanya jika anda menginstalnya di ROOT domain misal web-koe.com. Gunakan Secara Hati-hati. (nb : saya belum pernah mencoba pake Hostname/domain utama) | |
| username Hostname bukan Username wordpress. | |
| Password Hostname. | |
| Connection Type : . | FTP |
Selesai.
2. Upgrade Manual :
Download wordpress terbaru http://wordpress.org/download/
ekstrak filenya di folder. nah isinya yg berisi banyak file itu lalu di zip/compress supaya gampang uploadnya. Jangan lupa hapus dulu file wp-config.php sebelum di zip/compress, karena di server anda wp-config berisi settingan database anda. jadi gak perlu di utak atik.
di server anda di folder dimana wordpress anda berada
hapus direktori wp-includes dan wp-admin.
lalu anda upload wordpress29.zip yag barusan anda buat(tanpa wp-config.php)
setelah ter Upload. ekstract di folder dimana wordpress anda berada.
Selesai… selamat blog anda Hancur wwakkakakkakak… segala resiko diluar tanggung jawab saya…. untuk pengupgrade an yg lebih kompleks dimana anda sudah melakukan setting themes plugin posting dll silahkan buka referensi ini …http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress
dan ini http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended.
